Jeff Bristow, Wilson Bend Custom Cabinets owner and master cabinetmaker, has always loved creating timeless heirlooms. From his first 4H wood project as a child to customizing all of the wood in multimillion-dollar homes of today, Jeff has turned his passion for creating with wood into a fulfilling business.
Born in Japan, Missouri, Jeff grew up on the family farm. Today Jeff’s family home and cabinet shop are located less than three miles away from where he grew up. After working for over a decade in the machinist industry, Jeff trained with a master cabinetmaker to fine-tune his skills and follow his dream. Wilson Bend Custom Cabinets was founded in 1994 and has expanded twice to meet customer demands.
Working with talented craftsmen, Jeff and his crew have designed, crafted, and installed custom kitchens, bathrooms, offices, theater rooms, and specialty items for customers across the Midwest. Whether crafting from Cherry, Oak, Alder, Maple, Walnut, or Hickory, Wilson Bend can help design the space of your dreams.
Think custom cabinets equals pricey? Not necessarily….
Recently we have had multiple customers receive price quotes from Lowe’s as part of their due diligence process. Happily, we not only beat Lowe’s price bid but we also received the project. The customers were ecstatic that they were receiving custom cabinetry at such a competitive price. They were also able to order additional items to match their kitchen, such as the buffet photo here, or gorgeous custom baby gates in the case of another recent customer.
The takeaway? Don’t equate custom to pricey. You might miss out on a great opportunity to pay the same (or less) for a much higher quality end product.
